Who we are
The Elixirs Lab is an AI engineering company founded by Segun John Oni in 2023. We started as a small consultancy helping organizations build data infrastructure that actually worked. Today, we focus on the harder problems — quantitative research, machine learning systems, agent platforms — while continuing to ship reliable software for clients who need to move fast.
We're based in Lagos, Nigeria, registered as The Elixirs Lab Ltd (RC 7206881). Our work spans frontier-market quant research, AI engineering for production systems, and data infrastructure consulting. We collaborate with clients across Africa, the United States, and Europe.
Team
Segun John Oni
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL ENGINEER
AI/ML engineer and solutions architect with 7+ years of experience building production systems at scale. Currently a Senior ML Trainer at Turing Enterprises, with prior engineering roles at Divverse (RAG infrastructure serving 10M+ daily requests), MindPaul (HIPAA-compliant LangGraph platform), Exploreful, and others. Holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Lagos and is pursuing an MSc in Financial Engineering at WorldQuant University. Speaks Yoruba and English.
